Free Intake Terms

Last updated: July 2, 2026

These Free Intake Terms explain how Mathnk free assessments, intake sessions, or dedicated short trial classes work before a family chooses a paid enrollment package.

1. What the Free Intake Is

A Mathnk free intake may be a level assessment, short consultation, workspace preview, live teaching sample, dedicated short class, or recommendation session. The exact format depends on the student's grade or level, selected subject, teacher availability, and Mathnk's scheduling capacity.

The free intake is intended to help Mathnk understand the student's current level, learning goals, subject interest, support needs, and suitable next steps. It is not a full paid package class and does not guarantee a particular teacher, schedule, group, subject path, or enrollment outcome.

For some students, especially younger learners, the free intake may focus on assessment and parent discussion rather than joining a regular class. For older students, Mathnk may offer either an assessment path or a short trial-class path where available.

2. Parent or Guardian Authority

If the student is a minor, the person requesting the free intake must be the student's parent or legal guardian, or must have authority from the parent or legal guardian to make the request.

The parent or guardian is responsible for providing accurate student information, contact details, grade or level, subject interest, scheduling needs, and any learning or conduct context Mathnk should know before the intake.

Mathnk may require parent or guardian email verification before scheduling the intake or enabling student workspace access.

3. One Free Intake and Abuse Prevention

Mathnk generally allows one free intake per student or family, subject to availability and Mathnk's discretion.

Selecting multiple subjects helps Mathnk understand student interest, but the free intake will normally focus on one selected subject, assessment path, or short class.

Mathnk may limit, block, merge, or flag duplicate free intake requests using the same student, parent or guardian, email address, phone number, household, device, IP address, or other reasonable signals.

Free intake access may be refused, paused, or cancelled if information appears inaccurate, incomplete, unauthorized, abusive, or inconsistent with Mathnk's intake rules.

4. Verification, Scheduling, and Teacher Availability

Email verification is required before Mathnk schedules the intake or opens related workspace access.

Available intake times depend on teacher eligibility, teacher availability, subject, grade or level, scheduling conflicts, meeting provider availability, and operational capacity.

Mathnk may reschedule, reassign, or cancel an intake if a teacher becomes unavailable, the selected subject or level requires a different teacher, a meeting link fails, or the requested time is no longer available.

A scheduled intake may use Zoom or another meeting provider. The meeting link may be visible only to authorized students, parents, teachers, or staff according to Mathnk access rules.

5. Student Conduct During the Intake

Students are expected to attend on time, participate respectfully, stay attentive, and follow teacher instructions.

Students may be asked to keep the camera on unless a parent or guardian has provided an appropriate reason in advance. Mathnk may end or reschedule an intake if the student cannot participate safely or meaningfully.

Disruptive conduct, harassment, inappropriate content, recording without permission, impersonation, or misuse of Mathnk tools may lead to cancellation of the intake and restriction of future access.

6. Recordings and Workspace Activity

A free intake or short trial class may be recorded if recording is enabled for that session. Recordings are intended for educational review, quality, safety, training, or operational support where appropriate.

Mathnk may store intake notes, assessment results, teacher observations, workspace attempts, selected subjects, scheduling details, meeting information, and follow-up recommendations.

Intake recordings, notes, assessment results, and workspace data may be visible to authorized Mathnk staff, assigned teachers, the student, and linked parents or guardians where appropriate.

Access to recordings, reviewed work, notes, answer keys, and internal materials may be restricted and logged.

7. No Charge During the Free Intake

The free intake is free. Completing the intake request or attending the intake does not automatically create a paid enrollment.

If Mathnk offers optional payment-method setup before or during the intake process, no charge will be made for the free intake itself unless separate enrollment and payment terms are clearly accepted.

Any future paid enrollment requires confirmation of the selected grade or level, subject, package, tutoring hours, billing option, schedule, payment terms, and any applicable discount.

8. After the Intake

After the intake, Mathnk may recommend a subject package, tutoring format, teacher, schedule, assessment follow-up, workspace practice, one-on-one support, or another learning path.

Recommendations are based on information available to Mathnk at the time and do not guarantee academic results, grades, test scores, admissions outcomes, or scholarship results.

If the family chooses to enroll, the enrollment will be governed by the Mathnk Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, checkout terms, payment terms, cancellation rules, and any package-specific terms shown at enrollment.

9. Communications and Consent

Mathnk may send service-related messages about verification, intake scheduling, reminders, meeting links, intake follow-up, recommendations, account support, and enrollment questions.

Optional marketing, SMS, WhatsApp, or partner communications should require separate consent where required. You may withdraw optional marketing consent where available.

Mathnk may keep consent records, notification logs, and unsubscribe or withdrawal records to support compliance and customer service.

10. Privacy and Data Use

Personal information collected during the free intake process is handled according to the Mathnk Privacy Policy.

Mathnk uses intake information to verify the account, schedule the session, assign an appropriate teacher, assess student needs, recommend next steps, prevent duplicate or abusive requests, improve services, and communicate with the student or family.

Parents or guardians may contact Mathnk to ask questions about student information, linked accounts, recordings, consent, or communication preferences.

11. Changes and Contact

Mathnk may update these Free Intake Terms as programs, scheduling, assessment formats, or policies change. The updated terms will be posted with a new last-updated date.

Questions about the free intake process may be sent to support@mathnk.com or submitted through the Mathnk contact page.
